ABOUT ELZE KURT
My experience extends beyond residential design into commercial projects, including retail, exhibition, and hospitality concepts. I enjoy exploring how architecture can influence the way people experience a space—whether it's a home, a museum, a café, or a retail environment.
I studied Interior Architecture & Furniture Design at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague before continuing my education in Architecture & Technology at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. These experiences have shaped my approach to design, combining technical precision with creativity, material knowledge, and a strong focus on the people who ultimately inhabit the spaces I create.
I'm Elzė Kurt, an interior architect driven by a curiosity for how spaces influence the way people live, work, and interact. While I enjoy designing homes, I'm particularly passionate about commercial interiors and creating spaces that shape memorable experiences and tell stories.
Over the past few years, I've worked as an Interior Architect with a Copenhagen-based renovation company, designing and delivering projects ranging from complete residential renovations to bespoke interior transformations. Alongside this, I work independently with private clients, helping them redesign everything from small apartments to large family homes, guiding projects from concept and spatial planning to technical drawings, material selection, and visualizations.
